The difference is more in the mechbox and the ability to upgrade it. 7mm allows you to replace your bushings with bearings that will allow for some smoother operation. A reinforced mechbox will better handle the stresses of upgrading a gun to 400 fps or higher.

thanks for the quick reply :salute: it says in the box that mine has a "6mm oily steel bushing gearbox with new steel gears" is this a reiforced gearbox already? is there a 6mm bearing?
