Thats the same conclusion I came to as well. Although I definitely dont discourage people from trying to prove me wrong. It would be awesome if someone could get it to work. Something to consider though, the bb/pellet doesnt have to be solid plastic. Maybe have the part that touches the rifling be plastic, but have everything else a soft rubber? I dont know.
