And that's the real purpose of using a cam net on helmets, to break up the typical round shape of a helmet. Same thing for ghillie suits, it disguises the shape of legs and arms, to something that doesn't grab the eye and fits the environment better.
In CQB, camoflage doesn't matter because you don't stand still too often, and when you are, you're probable silhoetted from some angle so it doesn't matter.
