even if you dont disharge, the memory effect you get is very small. its not like if you dont discharge once, your battery is at 1/2. I use NiCad for cordless tolls at my work, and I never discharge. And after 3 years, Id say the battery still runs at atleast 80% of what it did the day we got it.
