Academy is a Korean plastic model company that just happens to make some "airsoft" guns. I've had a few and seen more and I wouldn't recommend them as a playable guns. They can certainly be made ot work "better" but in the end, with the time, labor & money spent, you're better off getting a gun made by a company that makes airsoft guns full time. If you want good 1/35 & 1/48 scales model kits, they make some really good ones, but their 1/1 scale guns are more wallhangers than anything else. About the only gun they had that was worth getting was the L85 because it was the only one around. But now STAR have their's and it kicks the shit out of Academy's.
