From my experience trying to repair a FAMAS, and test firing it, the iron sights are a real bastard to get used to, and make very little sense at all. Putting a decent scope or RDS on one.................. ummm.............? Only good feature which I will admit is a small button that allows you to release the piston for storage. Only AEG I know of that you can do that without firing in semi a couple times.
