I have two GBBs that are both TM products, sometimes I really wish to buy more…but to up grade them the way I want it will cost me more than an arm and a leg.
Here are the descriptions of my two GBBs.
One TM P-226 Sig with the following upgrades:
Creation metal slide with metal outer barrel
Nine Ball short stroke recoil spring with stainless steel Teflon coated spring guide.
Guarder hammer spring
Two Firefly high flow valves for my two mags.
Tanio Koba twist inner barrel (freshly installed by Illusion today).
Guarder tactical red laser unit
The P-226 is really a jewel of a toy for me, almost too nice to take it to a game. But I did use the gun at a game at the Flag Raider a month ago for attacking and defending the drug lab and did very well with it.
My other GBB is a TM Tactical Master with the following upgrades:
Zeke metal slide with metal outer barrel.
King Arm 150% recoil spring and King Arm 170% hammer spring
High flow valve.
So I spend less money on my Tactical Master, but it’s been the ‘work horse’ gun for me.
Not sure when I will get another GBB, but the new 1911s from KCS and TM both look quite fine to me. But I will not settle for a stock gun, so that means it will be awhile before I can afford to create another GBB that I can call my customized gun.
