TM M1911A1 problem
I recently got my new Tokyo Marui M1911A1 and had about half a day of test-firing and enjoyment until something went wrong. I try and fill it with gas and it vents like mad and I can only get like 8 shots off before it quits on me as well as releasing a huge amount of gas the first shot and less amounts afterwards. The first few magazines worth of shots performed flawlessly, but eventually stopped working nearly as well as it should. I've been filling it properly with a make-shift butane adapter, upside down, for only 3 seconds a mag-fill whilst adding a tiny amount of TM Silicone maintenance oil spray. I've been using "Falcon Dust-Off" containing Difluoroethane. It could be something totally different, but I'm sure it has something to do with the seals atleast. I'll comment on the performance of the duster gas containing tetrafluoroethane after I receive two new magazines in a week or so.
