um, not really gonna do much. Unfortunatly there is very little room to work with here, and metal tabs or not, there will be a weak point to where they meet the reciever.
SOme people smear epoxy over the tabs to try and built up slightly more material, but it usually results in the same end. In summery, metal tabs, on a plastic reciever pose the same snapping issues as the origional tabs.
