i agree and if i had $500+ to drop into a metal slide and frame kit i absolutely would have gone that way. however since i still wanted to keep my gbb project somewhat within reason i went with guarder, since it is higher quality than the action kit in the markings and general metal quality. as for the planishing it wasnt hard and it just took time more than anything. the end result is amazing and thats what im most concerned with.
