I don't remember the details offhand, but when I picked up a Guarder stainless steel chamber for my 1911 (WA), I remember there was some note about how I might have to trim the inside of the slide around the ejection port (opposite end of where you're having trouble from what I gathered from the pics -- but different guns so maybe the HiCapa one has trouble at the rear).
I didn't have to trim mine but I'm still using the stock (ABS) slide since I cant find a metal counterpart/suitable alternative for my gun.
