Why just a slide and barrel? Then you're still stuck with the lame plastic toy frame.
If you're me, cheasy TM plastic doesn't cut it. Nor do you want to be a sucker and pay oodles for a "kit" that-if the world was fair and right- you wouldn't/shouldn't have to buy anyway.
If this is your case, the Guarder slide and frame alont with steel barrel will be balaced between largest boot size ass kicking power and wallet friendliness.
Modification for it is a bitch and a little intense but if you've succesfully wiped your own ass for most of your life you should be able to eventually
figure it out. If not, gun doctors are your friend.
As for springs, the Gaurder recoil spring will work with the new slide bu tthe hammer spring is actually not needed and will cause the gun to fuck up do to being too stiff. High flow valves might fix this.
