if you are really worried about the fit and how the gun will perform i am sure you can find a local gun doc in your area who would be willing to fit it for you (yes its gonna have a price). that will assure you the best results possible.

overall im not usually a very handy guy when it comes to using tools and all but the kit was not beyond my mechanical abilities so im sure you can. actually slide disassembly is the easiest part of it all.
