The relay circuit in those kits looks just like the ones that come with the PTW's. The 2 large silver wires that are alone at one end of the realy board are the input. The other 2 silver wires at the opposite end are the motor output and the small guage wires are the control input from the trigger.
There should be at least 2 control wires, one takes voltage to the trigger, and one returns from the trigger (switched leg) to apply gate voltage to the FET's. There are 3 wires on the board for the PTW's, but the third is supplying the negative half of the circuit to power the other board. This is not present in the PSG-1.
I would think it would be best to remove the stock wiring from the stock switch to the motor to allow you to use the stock switch to trigger the FET's.
