I just looked, and what jumped at my mind is.... it's almost a Galil?

Like Droc, not sure if I like it or I dont. Certainly a dirt easy upgrade/mod for the Marui AK.

(Another model... looks like some of the Stoner series, or the Robinson Armaments M96 http://www.robarm.com/mainpage.htm )
