Hi there!

I was searching around the internet trying to find some way of identifying whether a new gun i purchased recently is a big greasy fake or just not a fantastic replica. I didn't manage to find what i was looking for but i did find this fascinating forum.

My question is: How can i find out if my new Marui Desert eagle spring pistol is fake? the packaging seems real and it came with the marui product magazine but the gun itself feels tinny/plastic and of poor build quality. It doesn't seem indicative of Marui's usual highly detailed products (i have a centimeter master spring pistol from Marui also and it feels and shoots great!)
