Stealth suits are cats ass if you want to pony up the money for one, and you can wear them under anything. Keeps you dry and confortable, not much for warmth though, you need a good underlayer if your planning on playing in colder temperatures, if you have that you can do whatever you want and your jacket doesn't have to be waterproof, though it would suck after a while. I've also found underarmour is great for field use for warmth. But if your just looking short stints in the field, what kinda conditions are you planning to play in?
