I generally wear large shirts (42" chest) and the medium recce smock is still HUGE like Yeoman said. Even if you have a 48" chest, the medium should still give you plenty of room inside for fleece, etc.

Just go by the fact that they are made very much oversized on purpose. Same as the OPs BDUs, the pants I have are medium, I wear a 34" pants, these will fit up to 36 I think. But the inseam is freaking long! I usually go by 33" for jeans, these pant legs can literally go over my heel, and forward half my size 10.5 foot.

Side note, if you are planning to order a smock, send Farmboy a PM. He runs One Shot Tactical and sells the DZ BDUs and smock, he can give you a better price than what you'd pay on the DZ site. Or you can contact Brian at DZ directly, he might give you a good price as well.
