<200 right now. When I'm not struggling to pay off many things like food, school, medical bills and other "life things" I might be able to afford to put down the required 500 dollars on a TM AEG, but since I have heard only positive things about this gun and nothing but negative attitude from use greylocks; it makes it really hard to take what you are saying.

(note: I also heard nothing but NEGATIVE things about all CYMA products before CM028 as being the worse items in all airsoft, so it is confusing)

I know a lot of shit head 15 year olds come in here and ask stupid and dangerous questions, and it is important to be unfriendly and hard on them. I have spent time researching this, what to look for in the AEG (the quality of the wiring, whether the gearbox has been oiled, (CYMA either uses extremely thick amounts of grease or zero) the battery connector, make sure it has a brace barrel, listen for a grinding noise, etc I know not to use cheap BBs that will come with it as they are imperfect and are not lubricated so will break apart in the barrel and damage it. I posted this on Airsoft Canada because I value the opinion of people experienced in the sport and about the value of AEGs. Greylocks you obviously have experience, but you are also an Xenophobe. So I'm not too keen on your experience at giving sound advice to newbies.

I have proper shooting glass which should be okay for just plinking. I intend to get proper fully enclosed ballistic glasses after my next paycheque but until then I'll likely lend the thing to my girlfriend to use in her basement (She's an RSO with the CIC so she's less likely to take out and eye then I am, Too bad she can't take it on the range with her cadets though.)

I still have all the BDU from my cadet days so all I really need besides the glasses is webbing, some real-caps and a lot of BBs and to take the ATQ1 so I am 100% confirmed to be safe.

One thing I AM worried about is getting a gun case with lock. I'm not quiet sure what kind what size would fit an AK74 (960mm according to guns.ru!).

Thanks for all the help.

Cheers.
