Money has never been an issue for the SAS. Their preference has always been rate of fire and acuracy. Hence the MP5.

The UMP .45 makes a good support weapon, the extra firepower is ideal for punching through thick walls if need be. But it's not their style to just go in blindly and start shooting up a building.
