U cant pull it off since the clips are very strangely made so they lock inside if u do pull them out they wont sit right any more *Learn through experience*
Your best bet would be to splice the wires then soldier em and heatshrink them after you put it through the ready made, this gives a very clean look.. make sure u put on the heatshrink tube on the wires before u soldier
