Police seize 60 replica firearms in raid Section: Economist & Sun
Officers from No. 5 District Headquarters and the Guns and Gangs Intelligence Unit have grabbed 60 replica firearms after raiding a store and two homes in Markham. Last Thursday and early Friday morning, officers executed a search warrant at a business at 4300 Steeles Ave. E. after police got a tip replicas were being imported, housed and sold at the business. The replica firearms include handguns and rifles. Two Markham men and one Richmond Hill man have been charged with possession of a prohibited device, unauthorized transfer of a prohibited device and importing an unauthorized prohibited device.
