I believe the numbers from the books I have here were around 400-500m effective, 800/1000m sighted, 1500m lethal, 3000m maximum bullet travel distance...
I have yet to fire some M43 (will in a couple months, from an AKM and a SKS), perhaps Id get a chance to take it out long range...seems like a very decent cartridge, especially considering the fact it was designed in 1943...
I love AKs.
