Yep. Open wire. However, there was one more problem. The switch that closes the circuit, thereby causing the gun to fire, was unable to open. (which would cause the gun to stop firing.) it looks find of like this: - = when the circuit is open. One piece with metal on both sides goes into a slot with metal on either side. The spring that re-opened the circuit when the gun was on semi or safe broke. Well, not the spring excactly. The little piece of plastic the spring hooked onto. So I'm working on that now.
