Well, I have a HBar that I am still building and aquiring parts for. I see that you are in the States so maybe finding parts is a little bit easier for you, but it has been a hassel for me to faithfully re-build it.

I have the barrel already, and finding the right flashhider in the airsoft world is not possible. Its just not made, you can get pretty close, but who wants close? As for the Bi-pod, even tracking down a TOP M60 one is pretty hard. I have been looking for some time, and have also been trying to track down a real steel one with little success.

On the note of the Mag, for airsoft use even the longer mag wont really offer you what you are wanting in terms of ammo capacity. when you are dealing with m249's that have 1500-5000 capacities on them, the 500 bbs you have seem i'll equiped. As well, when putting in a high rated battery into the AUG, with both TM and the CA, the Aug Highcaps wont feed it fast enough, so even though it is firing, its not shotting. Low caps dont have this problem, but putting 80rnds into a LMG doesn't really fit its playing style. Although with a 10.8v battery in mine, it sure does sound pretty deadly.

As well, for a proper length outer barrel, make sure that you get the right measurements. I know that the H-Bar that Den put out was not the right length, they took the listed length of the barrel and made it that long, not taking into account how much of that figure was actually inside of the gun's body. Looks cool, but was really too long. Another thing you should look at is the set pin that holds the outerbarrel in place. Find a way to reenforce it, as with the heavier barrel and the bi-pod on it you will find that it will start to spin in place, and then it will just not be able to hold onto the barrel at all. Beware when grabing your gun by the barrel!

As well, you say you have the A2 reciever, well, the H-BAR is made with the integrated scope, AKA the A1 reciever. now the A2 you could make into a H-BAR-T which is the scout sniper rifle platform. Internally really is going to be the same as far as airsoft is concerned. But you will defently have to upgrade it to place the extended inner barrel in it.
