Have you used the speed clips? So far, I'm not impressed with them. The beauty of other systems was the ability to weave through the available slots..if your pouch was 5 slots long you could still put it on a panel that only had 3 available. Seems you can't do that (as readily) with speed clips. Point in case would be the Blackhawk Side Hydration carriers. They're made to go on the side of THEIR releasable armor system, but won't fit on a CIRAS because it needs 8 rows of PALS to lock into.
I get the impression that speed clips are a solution looking for a problem; BHI wants to stop paying licensing fees to Eagle for MOLLE attachments.
