Keep the metal part and screw the piston head back in to that metal part through the piston body.

Mind measuring that PDI spring before you install it, I'm curious and can predict your future with it! Lol, asking because I have had a couple PDI 150% springs that were brownish in colour that measured 6 3/8" long, and put out what the 150% is supposed to, ~350fps. And have tried to install a half dozen PDI 150% springs that were anywhere from 6 3/4" long to 7" long with thick black wire, and they are either impossible to install or once installed, put out well over 420fps with 0.20g BBs.
