NBB pistols tend to work as, pull the trigger, the barrel assembly gets pulled back, strips a BB from the mag and loads it, then triggers the gas release. This happens each trigger pull in order. Releasing the trigger resets everything.

Take a look at the KSC Mk23 as well, it's GBB, has a decocking lever, and you can shoot it quieter by having the supressor on, decocking the hammer and pulling the trigger double action. Not sure why but it works, report is more muffled than if shooting single action with the supressor on.
