I honestly have to say stock TM P226 wins hands down over any monkey metal KJ gun any day. If you want looks and sound, go for the KJ. If you want an actual performer, I'd go with TM any day of the week.

KJ guns can't even possibly touch the range I've achieved with just a stock TM P226. My P226, almost completely unupgraded excluding a replaced guarder feeding nozzle has the same range as an AEG's with .25's.

This also being said; almost all of the new TM GBB's (Pretty much everything like the P226, 5.1/4.3, 1911, etc) can run on propane reliably without much chance of failure (My friend has been touchy in using propane with his upgraded TM Glock, but that is due to wear issues). I've been using my P226 with it's plastic frame and body for over two years now on propane, and it hasn't stopped firing since (Except for a broken trigger spring, but it fired after that)
