I said plasticard between the trigger assembly and outer barrel, not spacers. The guy made shims out of the plasticard thereby having less of the sear engaged when the bolt was armed. This relieve a bit of the pressure on the trigger but also made the entire trigger assembly unstable and prone to shifting which then translated to movement in the front mounting screw of the assembly to the outer barrel. This cause the screw hole to be stripped as the outer barrel is made out of a soft alluminum.
