Battery is way too high...I had the same problem with a Lipo 11.1V /2200MaH and everything in the handle(wires,motor,battery) got hot. Tone it down a little. I switched to a 1320MaH & things cooled down!

Good luck! If that don't work = internals too snug / bad shimming!
