There is nothing illegal about your Parents buying an airsoft gun. But I hope they know what their responsibilities then are...
You, being likely under 18, cant keep it. You cant use it when they are not supervising you directly. It has to be locked away from your reach when not in use or not supervised. You cant play with that just anywhere you please.
Some of this varies from Province to Province, and within most city limits, but that's about it.
