It'd be more effective with another spring screwed in between the hinges.. It'd give it a much snappier open.
Also, if you want to send one to me I can think of ways you can improve it.. (I'm pretty damn handy with make-shift... and not so makeshift airsoft stuff, IE, I've created a 100% reliable fully functioning mortar... and I currently have a shoulder mounted launcher in the works
