But you can buy those sorts of things already in Canada with no license required. If you did buy a real complete upper, you would need to machine out the real barrel, remove the chamber, etc. It would be easier and cheaper to buy the barrel set from Systema for $200 (or really Redwolf or whoever), buy a stripped flat-top upper for about $200 (Stag Arms, Bushmaster, Colt, whoever), buy the barrel set from Doff for about $200, and your set. A complete upper will cost you about $600-$700 and require significant machining, but the real upper when in it's stripped form is only modest machining and the Systema barrel needs no machining.

thank you again, yes I just found post from Custom PTW Accurate Barrel and saw Doff's name before I saw your reply, I will look at what you mentionned....like I said this is complicated for me, not my field of expertise but willing to learn...
