Well I believe we should implement a "no tightbores" rule on LMGS since they fire from an open bolt they are inherently less accurate. The muzzle velocity of an M249 MKII is slower than that of an M16A3 with the same barrel length by an average of 160ft/s (90ft/s when comparing the 249P to an M4), so they should have lower fps limits.
I can see the minimum engagement distance making sense if your using high fps guns though. But it makes more sense to lower fps rules for LMGs for safety reasons, alot of times I can't hear people call their hits over the sound of my 249, and it's no picnic to continue getting hit until you pull out your killrag.
