I didn't actually get to shoot mine at long distances in the short time I had it, but from what I've heard, the accuracy is rather marginal on the MP5K anyways due to its really short barrel. However, if it's consistently shooting up and to the left, there are a number of things you can check.
Unload the gun and disconnect the battery, then remove the flash hider. Look down the barrel adapter to see if the inner barrel is noticeably misaligned. If you can't tell from there, twist off the barrel adapter (there's also a small grub screw at the bottom) for a better look. If everything checks out, you might have a misbehaving hopup. As you've said, that brings up the issue of whether you'd get a new set in in time, though I think Airsoftparts.ca has a few left in stock if you hurry.
Also, I assume you're shooting 0.20g? Try shooting 0.25g and see if that changes anything at all.
