Considering CA is known for having good quality guns and their 249 stocks break off every now and then, ya I wouldn't trust A&K stocks either lol
Really helps that the sling mount on the retractable stock is part of the metal base of the stock and not at the end of the stock itself.
The sling comes in handy during long ops when I have a heavy ruck, since I'm a small guy the 249 hangs in front and balances me out lol
It does get in the way when your not wearing the slong, so what I did was put velcro on my sling so I can fold it up against the side of my gun and out of the way.
