Most fields don't allow you to use LASERs.
I've never used a flashlight (but they look cool on some guns) an in CQB You can blind people!
Scopes & Optics generally a good idea. Helps you aim better at distance.

1x Is no magnification. Think about it: 1 * X = X. RDSs and Reflex Scopes are good for lining up a shot quickly or shooting with both eyes open.

The power you need on a scope is (in my opinion) really dependent on the gun. There isn't a point putting a 40X scope on a gun that can only shoot 60ft and conversely a 4x is useless on a sniper rifle.

I use an RDS on my P90. I have a 4x replica SUSAT on my L85 and it works fine for what I need it for. My L96 and the AUG-A2P both have 40X Scopes on them. I also have a replica ACOG that is 4x that I sometimes used on the AUG aswell.

This stated I use iron-sights alot too.
