For the last goddamn time, Eagle is far and above Phantom. One is a copy of the other. Combat Integrated Releasable Armor System (CIRAS) is an Eagle creation. There is only one true CIRAS, and it's made by Eagle. All other "CIRAS" are copies thereof.
One is made by shifty Asian workers in a dingy factory somewhere in the PRC or Taiwanese interior, who don't give a shit what stitch goes where, while the other is made by workers who know that if the difference between missing a bartack and doubling one up may be life and death for a combat soldier.
One is a product of hundreds of thousands of dollars of R&D and extensive field-testing and user evaluation, each part of the unit is a certain way because of these inputs, while the other is a reverse-engineered emulation of the former.
If you want to play airsoft with it, Phantom is enough. It is specifically copied and marketed for airsofters and cosplayers.
If you want to 'Stan it, buy Eagle to avoid your premature ramp ceremony as much as possible. It is designed to survive combat situations and make lifesaving access (or ditching) a split-second process.
