Something that I've found that helps is to remove the scope entirely and attempt to aim using the rail - you'll quickly find if it's the rail or the actual weapon that's mis-aligned.

Also Chief has a good point - when I first got my L96, it had a 3inch bias from 30ft to the right as well... When I took it all apart, my hop-up was the culprit.

Maybe pics might help? (Meaning you can discover alignment issues with pics where eyeballing might not work... and we could potentially take a look too?)
