Don't get me wrong here, the stuff looks great and the real stuff is designed to save the lives of those serving abroad. But for what we do, it's just going to lead to people getting upset because no one is calling their hits (because they honestly can't feel them through all those thick layers).... or those that wear it complaining that they were hit in the face to often (because it's the only thing not padded to the nines that the shooter has as an option).

Even with my full cadpat rig on and an AEG firing I still get some sensation through the cordura, closedcell foam/and or kevlar of a
direct hit.. The few times I had no clue I was hit occured on impacts to my backpack when wearing it.
I specify direct hit, cause even the most senior players I've played with have not noticed glancing hits...
people just have to learn how to perceive the hits...practice is all
