The spring guide could be a bit of a job, due to its angles and such at the rear of it (where the barrel cams).

Largely, you want a KSC MK23, buy one. To many people are trying to poopoo on your decision and you are letting them. Biggest complaint I heard before buying mine was the size, and I find it large yes (considering my secondaries before were G19s), but I love it non-the-less and even have a few different options for carry (including a Versapack and an Eagle drop leg). What I said before is that this is a good gun, it's the KSC M11A1 that I have which is a maintainance pig, not the MK23. Other's experience is just that,their own experience. It's largely like the debate about running a KSC pistol with stock slide on propane, some say it breaks within the first couple hndred rounds, others like me have run thousands of rounds through theirs and haven't seen much in the way of wear at all.

In the end, sift through the data given and make your own choice.
