Unless yo uare using an aluminum piston I can't really see much use in polishing your piston rails. Just use a quality grease (I recommend Gunslick's Annhydrous Graphite Lube, $1.45 a tube, only really saying here because I see you are in Toronto and you have a Le Baron store in Mississauga). It won't gum up/dry out after a while like lithium grease does, and wil last a very long time (word is, from Greylocks of all people, is that it will polish your parts over time and usage).
