As I've told many people in the past, it shoots much like a stock Japanese GBB in terms of range, power and accuracy, and if you treat it as such it performs well (maybe even better in cooler weather, using full auto... and much cheaper mags).
But if you're considering this as an alternative to a full size AEG SMG (such as the MP5s, UMP, or G36C, etc.) it'll fall short of expectations in most cases (except maybe in very confined CQB, like a kill house).
The build of the TM one is fine (haven't heard of any issues except the charger) but someone did experience a mechbox failure when trying to upgrade one of the "Exact copy of the TM" clones, so one can infer the quality is lower on those.
One problem I have with it personally is being short (5' 6") I find the stock a bit long when extended, especially with body armor on. Really wish the stock had more than just one position (I think the real one is designed like that, though). Fortunately it's quite handy to use as an oversized pistol.
