I've been working on a CA M4 electrical problem since ysterday, things I found was carbon (black) build up on the contacts, both 'leaves' as well as the trigger block contact (used my Dremel with a sanding disk to bring up fresh copper, then tinned it with solder), I reflowed the solder joint on the battery wire contact since it didn't seem to be making good contact, and I replaced both the connectors that hook up to the motor. I've got good connection on it now when the trigger is pulled, I just have to reassemble the gun and try it out.
See if any of that info helps you out. Oh ya, the gun had been rewired and has a Deans connector in it all previous to my working on it.
