You need some kind of washer/spacer to put between the rail system and your metal body so when you thread the front end on (however it works in your case) the spacer will shorten the 'threading distance'. You'll have to add/remove spacers until things thread on straight. I'm not sure where you can buy them but you can try to make them yourself. Some front end kits come with these spacers. Make sense?
