This is probably a Pre-SCW WA. Most likely a magna-blowback system. The reason the nozzle gets held forward is because of the spring-loaded bbs coming up from the mag... When the slide is pulled back about 60% of the way, the nozzle return spring usually snaps it back allowing it to chamber a round...
