What surebet said, and prod that primer at the bottom with a pencil or pen all the way in to seat the valve.
If you happen to want to take it apart, theres at least 4 bearings in the valve you need to NOT LOSE, to get them back in just put a bit of grease in the holes to hold the bearings in place while your screwing it back together.
