I run a Force on Force training facility in Toronto.

I use KSC G19s with metal slides and Barrels, with upgraded recoil springs. I have put tens of thousands of rounds through these guns, and Finally after nearly 3 years they need replacing. They simply wore out. They were reliable up to failure, and were excellent sImulators in every sense of the word.

For my money... these are the guns to go with.

If you went with G17 models, the TM varient is quite good as well and has the advantage of also having available "blue gun" versions to enable you to round out the training tools and keep to the same gun. May be something to think about.
