Great gun choice. Have fun with your upgrading. You can increase FPS by doing a lot of other things than just upgrading to a stiffer spring, although the latter will do it quickly and dramatically.
Metal bushings and shims are your friends...use them in any upgrade especially when planning on increasing FPS.
Yes, you can stuff a 9.6 mini in with a little finesse. I am happy with the Intellect 8.4 1400 mah battery.
Have a look at my signature...I went a little crazy with the upgrades, but they are dynamite in action.
